This is a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Toy Poodle.
The Shih-Poo is another breed that is great for people with allergies as they are 100% non-shedding. The Shih Tzu is a low shed breed; therefore we get 100% non-shedding when crossed with the Poodle. They will have a low dander.
These dogs will do whatever it is you do. They swim, retrieve like a Golden Retriever, canoe, etc. They are very adjustable and will do what you want them to do. Great companions for all.
These are one of the most popular breeds. They are your all around family pet. They are great with children of all ages. They tend to be healthier than the purebred; they have a longer nose which eliminates the nasal problems of the Shih Tzu. For those who don’t like the pushed in face and big eyes, the Shih-Poo has a longer nose and smaller eyes.
They are beautiful puppies, very smart and obedient.
