This is a cross between a Miniature Schnauzer and a Miniature or Toy Poodle.
The Schnoodle is a great breed for anyone with allergies as they are 100% non-shedding. The Schnauzer is a low shedding breed and when crossed with the Poodle gives us 100% non-shedding. Also have much lower dander.
The Schnoodle is a very intelligent breed. This breed is great for active families, who walk, hike, bike, etc. They have the stamina to play all day long. They are very loyal to their family. The only down fall with the Schnoodle is that they are too smart for their own good. Owners of Schnoodles need to be firm and take control immediately.
This is a very popular breed. They range in size from 15-20 lbs. They come in a variety of colours, such as black, white, blonde, salt and pepper and black and tan. Sometimes white and black.
Tails – More and more I get requests for tails to be left intact. I have no problem with leaving a tail intact or cropping. I now leave this decision up to the customers. When you are requesting this mix you must indicate whether or not you want a tail cropped (which is the standard currently) or left intact at the time of going onto the wait list. Your deposit will be required at that time.
